Name of 90's rabbit cartoon show/movie?

There's this show/movie I watched when I was little, between the 90's
and maybe 2008, where there were these rabbits, which was drawn more
realistically. The tone of the show/movie seemed more serious than
regular cartoon movie.

There was one part where one of the rabbits kinda attacked another
rabbit and ripped its neck open. And another part where one or two
rabbits are in town at night and go through this slot (or something)
and falls onto a grate. A few moments later, a person drops a dead
puppy/dog into the same slot, and they jump out the slot again before
the fire started in there, because i think it was a crematory thing or
something used for burning things. I lived in Canada and it was
broadcast there!
